5 Can’t Miss Movies and TV shows – Week of May 13th

Week of May 13th – What to Watch:

John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum

What is worse than having a whole city after you? The whole world. The third and probably final journey of John Wick picking up immediately after the first two is amongst us this weekend. Keanu Reeves is back as the bellicose Baba Yaga, defending his life and his dog. Anticipate some unbelievable action and stunt work with star studded casting.


Catch-22

Hulu’s original mini-series based on the Joseph Heller novel premieres this Friday, May 17th. With George Clooney at both the director role and playing his ex-father-in-law’s role from the previous adaptation, it is sure to be an interesting treat. With a great cast and great writers from films like Lion and War Machine, this series is sure to blaze some trails.

Chernobyl

HBO’s limited series on the disaster is a chilling and unsettling story all the more incredible due to the fact that it’s true. Stellan Skarsgard and Jared Harris bring upon some riveting performances as the show sets to air its third episode tonight. Tune in if you can.

Game Of Thrones

This coming Sunday is the final episode of Game Of Thrones. Winter has come and gone, what will the show-runners known for unpredictability and subversion have in store for its final go. The series finale of one of the most successful shows in TV history arrives Sunday, May 19th. Be sure you don’t miss out.

Pokemon: Detective Pikachu

Viewers have spoken, Pokemon: Detective Pikachu is a true gem that does the impossible of mixing expansive video game lore with a focused path unobstructed or cluttered. Ryan Reynolds seems to be on a winning streak as of late. Support your local theater today.
