5 Can’t Miss Movies and TV shows – Week of May 20th

Here on Binge Sequence we will be giving a weekly updated list of titles that should be prioritized. A top 5 of sorts. The purpose of the list is to steer each other in the right direction.

Week of May 20th – What to Watch:

Every few months there’s a movie like this that sweeps early screeners off of their feet. Lower budget, higher quality projects like The Big Sick, Eighth Grade or Ladybird. Booksmart seems to be a kindred spirit to these films. Olivia Wilde’s directorial debut has already garnered so much love.

Whether or not the film is a disaster, Aladdin has been one of the most talked about movies of the past year. Is the design okay? Is the music worthy? Were the actor selections a mistake? You be the judge.

Doom Patrol

The DC Universe original series based on the weirdest family imaginable comes to an end this week. Now is a good time to activate those 7-Day free trials and binge the series in one fell swoop. Gotta see what crazy stuff they get into.

If you’ve ever wondered what you’d get when fusing horror elements and superpowers, Brightburn is here for you. Essentially, imagine if Superman didn’t turn out to be so nice after crash landing here from another planet. I’d like to see that for $12, please.

Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics And Men

Showtime’s new mini-docuseries based on the most legendary Hip-Hop crew in history is releasing another episode this week. The 4-part documentary covers everything from the origins, friendships, business issues and legacy of the group to this day. Ya best protect ya neck!

What else are you watching this week?

Movies, Shows and other must watch items can stay on the list for up to 4 weeks! Other titles may just appear for a week or two! Thanks for stopping by and remember add your recommendations in the comments below and subscribe to Binge Sequence to see what makes next week’s must watch list.
