Week of September 2nd – What to Watch:


It: Chapter 2

The biggest horror sequel in years comes this weekend in the form of It: Chapter 2. It is time for the adult chapter of the story. The Derry Losers return to fight off Pennywise one last time with the likes of Bill Hader, Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy, among others, depicting the gang.

The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance

The prequel to the Henson puppet cult classic is now streaming on Netflix. The show has already garnered some through-the-roof ratings on sites like Rotten Tomatoes and brings back the use of practical puppets. This show is shaping up to be one of the platform’s most interesting originals to date.

Carnival Row

A detective drama and murder mystery set in a fairytale world is just the strange combo to make for a unique and rewarding storyline. Amazon Prime brings you the original series Carnival Row, starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne.

Angel Has Fallen

The final chapter of the Fallen franchise sees the President’s most trusted protector framed and disgraced. How can he clear his name while staying out of the clutches of the enemy? Especially when you need to keep your oath to protect the president at all costs. Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman return as the leader of the free world and his best agent.

Ballers

The Rock’s HBO show of athletes living their best life, or not, returns for another season. In its fifth season, follow Spencer Strasmore as he continues his journey of representing men in the very field that made him what he is today. The show is HBO’s amalgamation of its previous shows Entourage and Arli$$.
